Baltoro and Concordia Trek Karakoram
The classic Concordia trek into K2 base camp. Meeting in Islamabad we fly onto Skardu, then take jeeps to Askole. The trekking starts here for the next 10 days up to Concordia and K2 base camp, then 7 days back. Our route in takes us first through the Braldu River Gorge, then up onto the mighty Baltoro Glacier. All below some of the worlds highest summits: K2, Broad Peak, Masherbrum, the Gasherbrums, and of course the huge granite towers the Karakoram are famous for: Trango, Mustag Alta, Uli Biaho and the Cathedrals.
