Mt. Kenya Trek and Safari
Our Mt. Kenya Trek and Point Lenana climb. Point Lenana is the trekking summit and the third highest point on Mt. Kenya. It is the highest non-technical point and involves only easy scrambling on a track. Staying at the Naro Moro River Lodge on the way in. On this trip we trek completely around Mt. Kenya, using the hut system. This is perhaps the best trekking in all of East Africa. The flora and fauna in this area is remarkable. Leopard, monkey and Cape Buffalo live in the dense bamboo forest and boggy moorlands up higher on the approach. After the trek we visit the Masai Mara and Nairobi Parks on safari.
