Welcome to one of our newest and most active programs, Carstensz Pyramid! One of the seven summits! This is a wild trip into a very remote area. Join us for this spectacular adventure while access is still allowed! This new approach and access is currently the only way to climb the mountain, as access through any other areas is severely restricted. The Illaga approach has been closed due to troubles there. We now have a secure program worked out with the local police and Indonesian Army to allow us permits, access and helicopter support to get right into Base Camp from Timika and/or Naibiri.
Carstensz is open and its time to go! There are multipule ways to get in now. Be flexable and you can either walk in, fly in, or go legally thru the mine. Its all good, it all works and we are one the leading guide services for expeditions to Carstensz!
